First of all we would like to say thank you to Lauri Boyden for the amazing weekend she hosted for us. Since our first meeting at the barn last year and up to our wedding day in October this year we have been overjoyed with how we were treated and the level of service Lauri and her team provided to us. Words used to describe our weekend were perfect, epic, spectacular, magical and full of love! The weather, the view, the sheer beauty of this venue made the most memorable weekend. It was the Hallmark wedding we envisioned, the rustic barn, the lights, the Mountain View and let’s not forget the red tractor! We loved having access to the barn/property the whole weekend. Lauri was there to support in whatever capacity we needed along with words of reassurance that everything would work out. Even when the wedding party would not stop talking and pay attention! We got married at Boyden on 10/5/24: 6 stars out of 5 would recommend! We had peak foliage and beautifully sunny, crisp weather, and couldn't have asked for more. Boyden was the last venue we saw on our VT venue tour, and we knew that as soon as we saw it and met Lauri, that we were meant to get married here. Lauri was a HUGE part of the reason we went with Boyden- she is warm, unbelievably professional, and someone we fully trusted to have our back on our big day. Other key perks of Boyden are that it offers a great rain plan that we felt was 80% as good as the sunny weather plan, and is one of the few VT venues we saw with both heat and a/c. Having guests stay at Smuggs was a huge plus, since most of our guests flew in from out of state, and putting people in a hotel in Burlington is definitely not what people have in mind when they dream of Vermont fall. Smuggs and Boyden are both on the same side of the Notch, so it was perfect for avoiding crazy fall Notch traffic. We loved having Boyden for the entire weekend- it truly felt like all our guests settled in for the weekend and were really comfortable there! If you're looking for an iconic Vermont wedding experience, this is it!

Our wedding at The Barn at Boyden Farm in September 2023 was more perfect than we could have ever imagined! Since our wedding, multiple guests have reached out to us to say how much they loved our venue. The outside space is gorgeous with mountain views, pretty sunsets, and plenty of space for lawn games. The inside of the barn is both beautiful and very well laid out; it's so nice on its own that it requires minimal decorations. Lauri and her staff were wonderful. They made sure that things ran smoothly the weekend of the wedding (we did not hire a wedding planner/coordinator and it was completely fine) and were really nice to work with. It was also awesome to have the whole venue to ourselves Friday - Sunday. It meant that we could set everything up on Friday and then were not rushing around the day of the wedding.
