We got married at Boyden on 10/5/24: 6 stars out of 5 would recommend! We had peak foliage and beautifully sunny, crisp weather, and couldn't have asked for more. Boyden was the last venue we saw on our VT venue tour, and we knew that as soon as we saw it and met Lauri, that we were meant to get married here. Lauri was a HUGE part of the reason we went with Boyden- she is warm, unbelievably professional, and someone we fully trusted to have our back on our big day. Other key perks of Boyden are that it offers a great rain plan that we felt was 80% as good as the sunny weather plan, and is one of the few VT venues we saw with both heat and a/c. Having guests stay at Smuggs was a huge plus, since most of our guests flew in from out of state, and putting people in a hotel in Burlington is definitely not what people have in mind when they dream of Vermont fall. Smuggs and Boyden are both on the same side of the Notch, so it was perfect for avoiding crazy fall Notch traffic. We loved having Boyden for the entire weekend- it truly felt like all our guests settled in for the weekend and were really comfortable there! If you're looking for an iconic Vermont wedding experience, this is it!
